Dinner from Barefoot Contessa Cookbook

This was our Beef Bourginon (I think I might have misspelled that) from Saturday night. We spend the day with Nana and Papa and then all made dinner. The picture is a bit dark but it was a pretty tasty meal. Niether of the kids liked it but that wasn't a shocker. When they're older, right?

Well, the 'not eating out for a month' has been put off another month. We all have colds around here and no energy to cook. Papa John's it was on Sunday night...boo.

A new year...

I'm attempting to complete the 365 project this year and not eating out for this month. Wish me luck! More photos of fun to come!

Finished my 1st crossword puzzle!

That only took a week to do but I did it!! I'm sure it's an easy one but an accomplishment none the less!

I started my photography class on the 1st of this month. Yes, it's an online class and yes, it's not super sophisticated but it's fun and I'm enjoying the daily prompts and comments from fellow 'classmates'. :) Here are a few of the photos I've submitted so far....

Project Linus (thing out of folder 'to do')

Completed one more thing out of the 15 I have to do out of my 'folder'....#6...only 9 more to go. This project has taken a hit this month. Hoping to hit it hard starting in the new year. Just can't cram any more things into this already busy month!

Carved a pumpkin

Just your basic Charlie Brown pumpkin but I thought it was pretty good for my first time. :)
